- IF the user has access to the "System Administration tool" they may select "Maintenance and Diagnostics"
- "Maintenance Commands" then "all"
- In the command line enter the following commands:
- READDATETIME
- Qualifiers: None
- Purpose: Displays the date and time on the system.
- System Response:
2004-June-3 12:8:39
- WriteDateTime
- Qualifiers: <year><month>
<day><day-of-week> <hour><minute><second>
- Purpose: Changes the date and time on the system.
- Details:
The qualifier is a number between 1 and 7 where:
- 1 = Monday
- 2 = Tuesday
- 3 = Wednesday
- 4 = Thursday
- 5 = Friday
- 6 = Saturday
- 7 = Sunday
- Note: If the new time is more than 30 minutes ahead of the current time,
the ESM session will automatically log out (the new time is saved).
- Example Entry: writedatetime 2004 5 3 2 12 31 51
- Use the READDATETIME command to confirm the change.

To set the date and/or time:
- Press Function.
- Press Att Function.
- Press Date Time.
- Press Set Date.
- Do one of the following:
- To set a date, press set date and enter the date (YY MM DD).
- To set a time, press Set Time and enter the time in 12 or 24 hour format (press PM if required for 12 hour format).
- Press Set.
- Press Exit.

To choose 12 or 24 hour format:
- Press Function.
- Press Att Function.
- Press Date Time.
- Press 12/24 Hr.CLK
- When AM or PM appears in the display, the system is in 12 hour format.
- Press Exit.

To view the date:
- Press Function.
- Press Att Function.
- Press Date Time.
